The Minister – like Jeffrey Bernard – is unwell.

My back went kaput again at the start of the week, thanks in no small part to the efforts of my employers.

It’s a good job Cambridgeshire’s finest didn’t pull me over for speeding on the way to work this morning, given what was stashed in the boot.

For instance, I note that a side-effect of the Class B controlled drug Codeine Phosphate is muscle rigidity.

Fortunately, I also note that a side-effect of Diazepam is muscle weakness.  (Sadly, though, it’s not a controlled drug.)

So I think that sort of evens things out.

Mind you, I’ve still yet to consider the effect of Class A controlled drug Morphine Sulphate (brand name Sevredol) in the equation.

Am I right in thinking the Beach Boys’ last major hit was an ode to Co-Codamol?

Come fly with me.  Let’s fly, let’s fly away…
